    RefWorks

    RefWorks is a bibliography manager that allows you to create your own personal database of citations by importing references from text files or online databases. A tutorial is available at RefWorks Tutorial. Additional help to get started using Refworks is available at RefWorks Help

    Full-Text Theology Research Databases

    ATLAReligion

    The ATLAReligion database provides very comprehensive access to journal citations and full-text articles in religion and theology. The ATLAReligion database dates back to 1949, but indexing is about one year behind.

  • Ebsco Religion and Philosophy Collection

Ebsco Religion includes recent full-text religion articles from 300 journals, very current.

ProQuest Religion provides indexing and full-text articles from 90 journals, magazines and newspapers in the field of religion. Coverage is 1986 - present, and indexing is very current.

This resource includes the contents of 30 reference books on many aspects of religion and philosophy.

Other Databases

OCLC FirstSearch is a portal providing access to 37 different electronic research databases.

    This second edition of the OED is updated quarterly with at least 1,000 new and revised entries. Also available is an RSS feed for a 'word of the day'.

  • iPreach
  • iPreach is an online collection of commentaries, Bible dictionaries, and other lectionary resources for sermon and lesson preparation.


  • Research in Ministry

  • This database is freely available from the American Theological Library Association (ATLA). It indexes DMIN and DMiss projects from reporting schools of theology accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. Indexing began in 1981. Author, title, project advisor, institution, and subject access are provided. In addition, an abstract for each project is included when one has been provided by the author. Remote access is available to all.
